Team building

Case studies

We worked with a group of students from Warwick University, who wanted to find out what team building looked like in corporate environments. The morning was spent looking at team roles, their preferences and their perceived strengths and weaknesses. The afternoon was spent observing them while they made up and recorded a blues song. Here is their feedback:

"I'm looking forward to receiving my copy of the music and to applying what I learned about teams. What an enjoyable way to learn"
"I learned a lot about how teams are built and work"
"A really clever and unique idea. Well thought through and well executed, with a friendly approach and a good, positive atmosphere. Definitely highly relevant and useful for the future"
"I would recommend this session as a source of team building and a way of finding out about yourself"
"It was enjoyable and showed how people working together can produce something worthwhile"

Another session took place at Dame Alice Harpur school in Bedford with a group of business studies students. The same format was applied as above. The feedback was as follows:
“We had a wonderful day…Thank you for giving the girls such a positive experience and for sorting the CD so quickly.”

"There is no such thing as a failed experiment, only experiments with unexpected outcomes"
